Pj Safford posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Klamath Union is 4-1 when Safford allows two or fewer earned runs, but 5-9 otherwise.
