Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ada). They walked away with a 65-54 victory over the Marshall Bears on Wednesday. With that win, the Cougars brought their scoring average up to 51.4 points per game.

Ada's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miilan Riley, who went 6 of 8 en route to 16 points along with six assists and five boards. The dominant performance gave Riley a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Wofford, who posted 11 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.

Ada smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Ada's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Marshall, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.

Ada and Marshall should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Ada (ranked 74th) will meet Seminole (ranked 304th) at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Marshall (ranked 105th) will meet Duncan (ranked 341st) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
