Volleyball Recap: East Mecklenburg Eagles vs. Palisades Pumas
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but East Mecklenburg had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Palisades Pumas. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three games in a row.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was East Mecklenburg who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 20-25, 25-21, 19-25, 15-11.
