Volleyball Recap: University Extends Winning Streak to Three

University had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

University had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-17, 25-11, 25-23.

University's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Lick-Wilmerding, they dropped their record down to 10-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. University will challenge rival San Domenico at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lick-Wilmerding is set to square off against their familiar foe Urban at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
