Two dominant guards in Taji Stewart and Chezky Levitt are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Mercy Career & Technical will be playing at home against Kohelet Yeshiva at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Mercy Career & Technical can attribute much of their success to Stewart, who posted 12 points, and Jeremiah Ford, who earned 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elmer Peralta, who put up seven points.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Kohelet Yeshiva ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Mesivta, sneaking past 62-59. 62 seems to be a good number for Kohelet Yeshiva as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Mercy Career & Technical better keep an eye on Levitt. He was instrumental in Kohelet Yeshiva's win, going 10 for 20 on his way to 46 points and six rebounds. The matchup was Levitt's 17th in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Levy, who scored seven points and six boards.

The victory (which was Kohelet Yeshiva's third in a row) raised their record to 13-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points over those games. As for Mercy Career & Technical, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Mercy Career & Technical didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Kohelet Yeshiva in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 67-62 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Levitt, who had 35 points and seven rebounds.
