Soccer Game Preview: Cy-Fair vs. Memorial

The Cy-Fair Bobcats will face off against the Memorial Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cy-Fair's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Cy-Fair turned things around against Jersey Village on Friday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Memorial, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Cypress Ridge 2-1. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Mustangs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Rams are ranked 47th).

Cy-Fair's draw makes their record 0-6-2 this season. As for Memorial, they now have a winning record of 3-2-3.
