It's playoff time, and Valders had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers 4-2. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Austin Fisher was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Starr, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Valders' win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Manitowoc Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Valders nor Manitowoc Lutheran have any future games scheduled.
