Volleyball Game Preview: Norfolk Panthers vs. Lincoln North Star Navigators

The Norfolk Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Lincoln North Star Navigators at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Norfolk took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Omaha Northwest as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Norfolk never let Omaha Northwest on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-22, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Lincoln North Star came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Links with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-9, 25-21.

Norfolk's win bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Lincoln North Star, their victory bumped their record up to 29-4.

Norfolk suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Lincoln North Star in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
