Basketball Game Preview: Manchester Panthers vs. Northwest Indians

Manchester is 1-9 against Northwest since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Manchester Panthers will head out to face off against the Northwest Indians at 7:00 p.m. Manchester has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 215 points over their last three contests.

Last Tuesday, Manchester didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Waynedale, but they still walked away with a 72-67 victory.

Meanwhile, everything went Northwest's way against Marlington on Tuesday as Northwest made off with a 67-46 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Indians have posted against the Dukes since February 9, 2016.

Northwest's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Manchester, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Manchester came up short against Northwest in their previous meeting back in February, falling 67-60. Can Manchester avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
