Northbridge is a perfect 8-0 against Prouty since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Rams will head out to square off against the Panthers at 3:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Northbridge has four straight wins, Prouty has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Northbridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Bartlett 16-1 on Monday. With that victory, the Rams brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Jacoby Gallerani and David Scichilone did most of the damage at the plate: Gallerani scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Scichilone scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Antonio D'Alfonso also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Northbridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bartlett only posted an OBP of .263.

Meanwhile, Prouty lost 13-2 to Oxford on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Northbridge's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Prouty, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Northbridge took their victory against Prouty in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 14-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
