Baseball Recap: Norris Extends Winning Streak to Five

Norris waltzed into their match on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Lincoln Southeast Knights by a score of 7-2. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Anden Papik tossed a big game, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kaden Fredenburg, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his two plate appearances. Jordan Monroe was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Norris was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Norris' record is now 11-2. As for Lincoln Southeast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
