Holmen strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cedarburg Bulldogs.

Charley Casey paced Holmen's offense, picking up nine kills. Casey got some help from Sadie Mayer and her 12 assists. Moira Linse controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Peyton Wollman and Emme Marshall certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Wollman had 14 digs and three aces, while Marshall had eight digs. Hannah Heitzkey also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Holmen's victory bumped their record up to 17-0. As for Cedarburg, they moved to 11-3 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Holmen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against DeForest on the 13th. As for Cedarburg, they will face off against Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Orioles have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
