Fountain-Fort Carson and Liberty are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Trojans will head out on the road to take on the Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fountain-Fort Carson has five straight wins, Liberty has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Fountain-Fort Carson's tournament run continued when they took on Douglas County on Saturday. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Huskies.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Liberty came up short against Pine Creek on Friday, falling 3-0.

Liberty was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-18.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Everything went Fountain-Fort Carson's way against Liberty when the teams last played back in September, as Fountain-Fort Carson made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
