Basketball Recap: King's Fork Extends Home Winning Streak to Ten

King's Fork entered their tilt with Northeastern on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Northeastern Eagles by a score of 78-67. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 13th in Virginia, while the Eagles are ranked 116th in North Carolina), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Loss or not, Northeastern got some senior leadership from Tyell Saunders and Jayden Alexander. Saunders posted 33 points, while Alexander put up 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Saunders has scored all season.
