Northwestern waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Jackson Generals 71-40. The Bulls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 24 points or more this season.

Jamiro Smith continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 for 14 on his way to 20 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. Dwight Carter was another key player, going 5 of 9 en route to 11 points and three steals.

Northwestern has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Jackson, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwestern will welcome Hialeah at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jackson, they will be playing at home against Coral Park at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Coral Park knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Jackson likes a good challenge.
