Football Recap: Pleasant Hill/Western Takes a Loss

Pleasant Hill/Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. The contest between the Wolves and the West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars didn't end well, with the Wolves falling 22-6. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 22-20 to the Cougars when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Pleasant Hill/Western lost, don't look at Brody Rush. Despite the final result, he picked up 116 receiving yards and one TD.

West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] was led to victory by Ryker Ford and Tucker Arnold. Ford rushed for 92 yards, while Arnold rushed for 22 yards and one touchdown. What's more, Ford racked up 67.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Pleasant Hill/Western's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs], the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
