Wake County HomeSchool has gone a perfect 3-0 against Freedom Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wake County HomeSchool Warriors will face off against the Freedom Christian Academy Patriots at 6:00 p.m.

Wake County HomeSchool can't be to happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Tuesday. They fell just short of Ragsdale by a score of 2-1.

Wake County HomeSchool got a good showing from Eli Dadisman, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Jace Jones was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run.

Meanwhile, Freedom Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Forsyth Home Educators 3-2.

Wilson Stowers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Graysen Stafford, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Andrew Corney was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Wake County HomeSchool took their win against Freedom Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 13-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wake County HomeSchool since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
