After losing to Valencia the last time they met, Buena Park decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Coyotes came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 6-2 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Coyotes, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Mia Gonzalez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Layla Hinojos, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Buena Park's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Valencia, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 14-11 record.

As of now, neither Buena Park nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
