Kylan Poindexter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Rosa Fort is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Poindexter was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Travarian Curtis, who scored three runs and stole five bases while going 2-for-3. Rosa Fort is undefeated when Curtis posts two or more runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Jaboris Granberry was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Winona scored first but ultimately less than Senatobia in their game on Monday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 12-2. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Winona saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Boone, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.
Winona's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Rosa Fort, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Rosa Fort has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .477. However, it's not like Winona struggles in that department as they've averaged .462. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
