Football Recap: Sutter Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Win

Sutter won against Dixon last Friday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Huskies simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the El Camino Eagles 62-0. Fans of the Huskies have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Leading Sutter to victory were Braden Scritchfield and Losi Asiata. Scritchfield threw for 121 yards and two touchdowns on only six passes, while Asiata rushed for 117 yards and one TD on only seven carries. Asiata's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 117 rushing yards.

The win keeps Sutter at an undefeated 7-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.7 points on average this season. As for El Camino, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coincidentally, Sutter and El Camino will both be playing Rio Linda the next time they take the field. The Huskies will head out to face the Knights at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
