Recap: Laurens Raiders vs. Riverside Warriors
The Laurens Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. Their rough 64-44 defeat to Riverside might stick with them for a while. Laurens has not had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the loss, Laurens still got an impressive performance from Keilaund Singleton, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Martineze Shaw, who scored 12 points.
Laurens has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Riverside, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Wade Hampton the next time they take the court. Laurens will head out to face the Generals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Warriors will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
