Baseball Recap: East Providence's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

East Providence lost against South Kingstown back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Townies wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The game marked their lowest-scoring match so far this season.

East Providence saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Timothy Robitaille, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, East Providence fell to 5-1. As for South Kingstown, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, East Providence will be playing in front of their home fans against Toll Gate at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Kingstown, they will venture away from home to take on Fitch at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
