Basketball Recap: Green Valley Gators vs. Moapa Valley Pirates
Green Valley was the 43-37 winner over Moapa Valley when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Green Valley Gators received a blow on Saturday as they fell 37-20 to the Moapa Valley Pirates. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Green Valley's loss came despite strong showings from Jazmine Ramirez and Tabitha Bwakamba. Ramirez posted nine points, while Bwakamba put up four points in addition to ten rebounds and four steals. That's the most steals Bwakamba has posted since back in December of 2023.
