Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Leopold). They blew past the Marquand-Zion Tigers, posting a 76-49 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wildcats have posted since February 12, 2024.

The victory got Leopold back to even at 7-7. As for Marquand-Zion, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Leopold didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-36 win against Oak Ridge on the 14th. As for Marquand-Zion, they will head out on the road to face off against Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Marquand-Zion likes a good challenge.
