Volleyball Recap: Davis County Takes a Loss

Davis County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Mt. Pleasant Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Davis County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Mt. Pleasant, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

Coincidentally, Davis County and Mt. Pleasant will both be playing Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Rockets at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
