Basketball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 75-21 loss at the hands of the Wayne Memorial Zebras. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 446th, while the Zebras are ranked 38th).

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Wayne Memorial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Franklin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 49-35 defeat against Churchill on the 11th. Wayne Memorial has also already played their next contest (against Glenn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
