If Velma-Alma wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Marlow, they should've done a better job of containing Brody Bishop. The Outlaws were the clear victors by a 64-42 margin over the Comets on Wednesday for which the team can thank Bishop, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten assists. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.7% field goal percentage.

The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Williams, who posted six points and six rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Marlow and bumps their season record up to 11-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Velma-Alma, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-2.

Coming up, Marlow will face off against Pauls Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Velma-Alma, they are taking a road trip to face off against Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
