Soccer Recap: Albemarle School Starts off Right with Win over Pasquotank County

Albemarle School had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Pasquotank County Panthers on Friday as they made off with a 5-2 win. With Albemarle School ahead 4-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Javonte Borg and Carter Cauley scored all five of Albemarle School's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

This is the second loss in a row for Pasquotank County and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Albemarle School will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Mattamuskeet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pasquotank County, they will host Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
