Volleyball Recap: Greenbrier West Comes Up Short

Greenbrier West lost against George Washington back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cavaliers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

Greenbrier West has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5-1 record this season. As for George Washington, they now have a winning record of 8-7-1.

Greenbrier West has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Oak Hill on the 20th. As for George Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Independence on the 20th.
