Preview: Omaha Eagles vs. Deer Antlers
The Omaha Eagles will be playing at home against the Deer Antlers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Omaha pushed their score all the way to 59 two weeks ago, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kingston.
Deer suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Wednesday. They suffered a tough 55-33 defeat at the hands of Lead Hill. Deer has not had much luck with Lead Hill recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Omaha dropped their record down to 12-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Deer, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17.
Everything came up roses for Omaha against Deer in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 as the squad secured a 82-35 victory. Will Omaha repeat their success, or does Deer have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
