Softball Recap: Chase County Takes a Loss

Chase County was the 18-17 winner over Wabaunsee when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers on Friday.

Chase County has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Wabaunsee, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-8.

Chase County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wabaunsee, they will be playing at home against Onaga at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buffaloes' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Chargers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
