With a playoff win on the line, Northwood rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Louisburg Warriors. The result was nothing new for Northwood, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Northwood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those eight matchups. As for Louisburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11-2.
