Beatty suffers sixth straight loss on the road

The Beatty Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Liberty Baptist Academy. Beatty was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Liberty Baptist Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.
Liberty Baptist Academy can attribute much of their success to Ryan Campbell, who scored 26 points. Noah McConnell was another key contributor, scoring four points along with nine rebounds.
Beatty's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7. As for Liberty Baptist Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beatty is on the road again on January 5, 2024 and play against Indian Springs at 6:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Liberty Baptist Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Word of Life Christian Academy at 1:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
