Volleyball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short on the Road Against Wilmington

Washington had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Wilmington Hurricane on Saturday. The Blue Lions have struggled against the Hurricane recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 19-25, 25-21.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will take on Huntington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilmington, they will head out to take on Waynesville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
