Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain Crest Mustangs vs. Green Canyon Wolves

Mountain Crest hasn't had much luck against Green Canyon recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Mountain Crest will square off against Green Canyon at 6:30 p.m.

Mountain Crest is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 16th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Ridgeline.

While Mountain Crest was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Ridgeline's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-12.

Green Canyon had won four straight games and Cameron Henrie did his part to make it five on Thursday. Everything went Green Canyon's way against Bear River as Green Canyon made off with a 3-0 win with plenty of help from Henrie, who had six digs and five aces. Those five aces gave him a new career-high.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-12, 25-13.

Green Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Mountain Crest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
