Volleyball Recap: Ezekiel Academy's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Ezekiel Academy lost against Providence Classical back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell just short of Providence Classical by a score of 2-1. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kiley Henderson paced Ezekiel Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Henderson got some help from Jillian Newell and her seven assists. Finally, Alantis Richards kept Ezekiel Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ezekiel Academy fell to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ezekiel Academy will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Eastwood Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Providence Classical, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tabernacle at 6:00 p.m. on September 15.
