Basketball Game Preview: Glenmora Wildcats vs. Oberlin Tigers

Glenmora is on a six-game streak of home losses, Oberlin a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Glenmora Wildcats will get right back to it and host the Oberlin Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Oberlin took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Glenmora, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Glenmora turned things around against Tioga on Monday. They managed a 32-28 win over the Indians. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Wildcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Indians are ranked 63rd).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Oberlin duked it out withGrant on Friday. Oberlin received a blow as they fell 54-39 to Grant.

Glenmora's win bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Oberlin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.

Everything came up roses for Glenmora against Oberlin when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 95-51 victory. Will Glenmora repeat their success, or does Oberlin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
