Volleyball Recap: Winslow Victorious

Winslow won the last time they faced Alchesay and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

While Winslow might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Alchesay scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 23-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Tamia Haskie paced Winslow's offense, picking up 11 kills. Haskie got some help from Keira Barton and her 39 assists. Kassidy Belone controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Winslow's victory bumped their record up to 19-15-1. As for Alchesay, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.

Coincidentally, Winslow and Alchesay will both be playing St. Johns the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Redskins at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Falcons will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
