Basketball Recap: Pine Hill Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Pine Hill waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Northwest Falcons by a score of 47-36. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 77-52 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pine Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trevor John, who posted 12 points. Those 12 points gave John a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luke Yazzie, who put up eight points.

Pine Hill's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Northwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Pine Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-38 win against Coronado on the 21st. As for Northwest, they have also already played their next matchup, a 74-41 loss against To'hajiilee on the 21st.
