Greenwood Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They blew past the Abbeville Panthers 7-2. Considering the Hawks have won six games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Abbeville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Hampton Davis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Greenwood Christian's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those five matchups. As for Abbeville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
