Softball Recap: McGavock Raiders vs. Hillsboro Burros

McGavock can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Hillsboro Burros as the McGavock Raiders made off with a 16-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for McGavock.

Chloe Harrell made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Harrell has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Harrell was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Makenzie Kilby was a standout: she scored two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Addyson Brown was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
