 On Saturday, the John Jay Patriots got the win against the Union-Endicott Tigers  by a conclusive  8-2. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for John Jay.
  Ayden Vitale tossed a big game,   tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits.
 At the plate,  Alex Jendras was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Marc Cretara, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 John Jay's victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 4-0-1. As for Union-Endicott, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 John Jay didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  13-2  win vs. Maine-Endwell on the 20th. As for Union-Endicott, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Corning-Painted Post West at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
