Calvert Hall owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past the Malvern Prep Friars 1-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won four matches in a row.

Clark Mileto and John Ellerman dominated on the mound. Mileto pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, while Ellerman pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Calvert Hall saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Williams, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Calvert Hall's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The Friars are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
