Basketball Recap: Williamsville Bullets vs. Athens Warriors

The Williamsville Bullets entered their tilt with the Athens Warriors with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Williamsville narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Warriors 35-33. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Williamsville has scored all season.

Carson Kohler was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Williamsville's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Athens, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-10.

Williamsville will face off against the Hawks at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Athens, they will be playing at home against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Maroa-Forsyth's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games.
