Baseball Recap: Centerville Takes a Loss

Centerville lost against Shenandoah back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Raiders, falling 19-9.

Chase Clark made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Arian Van Skyock, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shenandoah, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Centerville is taking a road trip to square off against Rushville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shenandoah, they will host Northeastern at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
