Basketball Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

Farmington was the 94-77 winner over Prior Lake when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Farmington Tigers came up short against the Prior Lake Lakers on Tuesday, falling 77-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Lakers since January 14, 2020.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Prior Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Farmington will square off against Eastview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Prior Lake, they will face off against Eagan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Prior Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully Eagan likes a good challenge.
