Football Game Preview: North Little Rock Charging Wildcats vs. Bryant Hornets + Official Tickets

North Little Rock is 0-10 against Bryant since December of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Charging Wildcats will square off against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

North Little Rock gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 43-13 victory over Central. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Charging Wildcats were the (much) better team in the second half.

North Little Rock's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zeke Lewis led the charge by rushing for 78 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries. The Charging Wildcats also got a significant boost from Treyvon MacKintrush, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 95 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: North Little Rock was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 307 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central only rushed for -4.

Meanwhile, Bryant blew past Cabot, posting a 49-3 win. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas football rankings (they are ranked first, while the Panthers are ranked 30th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Little Rock's record is now 3-5. As for Bryant, their record now sits at 8-0.

North Little Rock was dealt a bruising 63-7 loss at the hands of Bryant in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Charging Wildcats, Myron Thrash Jr (who rushed for 61 yards and two TDs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
