Woodcreek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Elk Grove with a sharp 3-0 win.

Woodcreek got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 30-28, 25-16.

Black is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last nine games he's played. Another player making a difference was Noah Turnbull, who had 17 digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Nevada Union got the win against Johnson on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Miners.

Nevada Union's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-7. As for Woodcreek, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.
