Volleyball Recap: Deuel Takes a Loss

Deuel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Castlewood Warriors. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Deuel took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-22.

Deuel's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Castlewood, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Deuel will challenge Sisseton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Castlewood, they will venture away from home to square off against Arlington at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
