Soccer Game Preview: Pass Christian vs. Hancock

The Pass Christian Pirates will face off against the Hancock Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hancock took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pass Christian, who comes in off a win.

Pass Christian took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Pearl River Central get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. It was an even better day for Amelia Coolidge as she scored four goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Hancock unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against St. Martin, falling 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Pass Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Pass Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Hancock in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
